Small Animals
The key component to any automated watering system is the valve. Selecting a reliable drinking valve is the most important decision you will make. The drinking valve should operate consistently, at a wide range of pressures, and provide access to fresh water without flooding the cage. Systems Engineering led the industry by introducing the first cage mounted drinking valve in 1989. The L-2000 valve is the industry’s first and only bedding-resistant drinking valve.​
L-2000 (IN CAGE DRINKER)
The L-2000 valve is autoclavable and works from .5 to 20 psi. Because of its spring loaded stem, you will not experience spontaneous leaking due to pressure fluctuations in your distribution system. This allows the drinker to work under micro pressure or gravity. A carboy can be placed on top of the rack to supply emergency water.
SP-5750 (RETROFIT VALVE)
Building on the success of L-2000 valve, we developed the SP-5750. This new valve retains the essential internal components that provide its bedding resistant qualities. If offers an upgrade path for users without SE manifolds on their existing equipment, allowing them to benefit from the reliability of and peace of mind associated with the L-2000 platform.
BV-100 (SS BAG VALVE)
Designed to be a great replacement for the single use plastic valves. With a complete stainless steel body, your mice can not chew on the valve and cause them to fail to provide water. The same components are used on the inside of the valve to provide a great option to disposable valves. Can be autoclaved and washed for reuse.
ML-125 (SMALL ANIMAL VALVE)
Designed for use inside or outside the animal cage where leaks are not as critical. Two levels of safety in every valve (does not include the rigid shutter disc). Use with all rodents, rabbits, and small primates.
Large Animals
L-70 (DOG, PIG, PRIMATE, SHEEP VALVE)
Designed for use in animal runs or large animal enclosures. Works with higher pressure systems (5-100 psi). Use with primates, dogs, sheep, pigs and other large animals.
L-80 (DOG, PIG, PRIMATE, SHEEP VALVE)
Designed for use in animal runs or large animal enclosures. Works with higher pressure systems (5-100 psi). Includes a play guard to keep animals from activating the water if leaned on. Use with primates, dogs, sheep, pigs and other large animals.
L-100 (ECONOMY DOG VALVE)
Designed for use in animal runs or large animal enclosures. Works with higher pressure systems (5-100 psi). Chrome-plated alloy body with hose threads for direct connection to faucets. Use with dogs and other lapping animals.
